Gowdy: Obama Administration Stalling This Investigation

For months, critics of Chairman Trey Gowdy and the House Benghazi Committee have criticized him for dragging his investigation into the middle of the election cycle. Just last week, a top Pentagon official sharply rebuked the panel for making new interview requests 22 months after the probe began.

However, the South Carolina Republican has an answer for his detractors: It’s the Obama administration’s fault.

Here’s the report on an interview with Gowdy from Politico.com:

“It’s taken way too long and way too much of our energy in simply gaining access. There continues to be time wasted negotiating with executive branch entities who do not want to give us what I believe Congress is entitled to.”

Right now, for example, he’s sparring with the Defense Department over interviews with military drone pilots and camera operators who flew missions over Libya the night of the attack. The Pentagon doesn’t see the point of the interviews and said they would be a waste of resources.

But Gowdy remains unswayed by those objections:

“There are witnesses we had to insist on and then we were told no, then we were told we can’t find them, and then we were told, ‘It would take X, Y and Z and you don’t want to do all that,’ and there were all these excuses… There is no way we can do this investigation without talking to these people, and it takes time.”

This seems to be par for the course (pun intended) with the Obama administration. Stonewall and lie, stonewall and lie to delay investigations and the search for truth.

Do you think the Obama administration is stonewalling Trey Gowdy and the Benghazi Committee in order to avoid political and/or legal problems?

  1. Question: Are there any similarities between Esther and Barack Obama?

Answer: It is significant that Netanyahu was here the day before Purim.

We don’t know the mind of God but it sure is an interesting coincidence. Purim is a feast that remembers the brave actions of Esther. Haman, an enemy of the Jews met secretly with the king of Persia (Iran). Together they agreed to destroy the Jewish people in the Persian Empire. Since the Persian empire stretched from Ethiopia to India the plot would have meant the extermination of the Jewish people. At the last minute Esther mustered the courage to speak to the king as a Jew. When the king realized what he had done he immediately issued a decree which allowed Israel to fight back and survive.

Isn’t it interesting that a certain American president with a Muslim worldview is working in secret with modern Persia while the head of Israel has stepped into the lion’s mouth to save his people. Pray for the peace of jerusalem. And remember God is not mocked. whatsoever a man sows so shall he also reap.
