Did Hillary’s VP Just Throw Her Under the Bus?

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton chose Virginia Senator Tim Kaine as her running mate for the White House. After her choice was made, research started into Kaine’s previous comments on sensitive subject matter.

One recent statement by Kaine won’t please Hillary. In fact, he may have thrown her under the political bus.

Here are the details from Western Journalism:

“In a June 26 interview with Chuck Todd on NBC’s Meet the Press, Kaine detailed his positions on many subjects, including, but not limited to, the First and Second Amendments to the Constitution.

“Attempting to make a case for more restrictive gun regulations, Kaine drew an analogy between the two amendments. He said while there is the freedom of speech, certain speech is not permitted. Kaine stated journalists have the right and freedom to write what they want but they cannot ‘libel or slander somebody with no consequence.’ Kaine admitted the Second Amendment involves an individual’s right to own a firearm, but said he believes the rights to own a gun can and should be ‘well-regulated’ as he interprets the Constitution.”

But Kaine’s next statement seemed to betray the candidate for president who selected him to run as her vice president:

“I can’t take classified information I get as a senator and give it to somebody with no consequence.”

The scenario that Kaine described is exactly what Clinton was accused of doing, and precisely what she was found to have done.

Not long after Kaine’s remarks, on July 5, FBI Director James Comey announced the findings and recommendations of an investigation into the former secretary of state’s use of private email server to send and receive classified material. Comey stated to the American people that ‘seven e-mail chains concern matters that were classified at the Top Secret/Special Access Program level when they were sent and received.'”

It seems that there isn’t “equal protection under the law” if your last name is Clinton.

Do you think that this statement from Senator Kaine will come back and bite Hillary and prevent her from winning the White House?
