President Donald Trump’s administration plans to announce design finalists for his “big beautiful wall” soon.

The announcement will take place sometime in the summer of this year, according to a U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesperson. It will include four to eight designs for wall “prototypes” to be constructed in San Diego.

The exact date and details of the prototypes announcement have not been set, but is expected to be a major milestone for the president’s promised project.

Trump supporters will soon see for themselves exactly what the wall might look like after the contracts are awarded and constructions of the prototypes are completed.

YAY. cannot wait for this to happen.

I believe in our President for he has done every thing he could that these so called democrats didn’t get in his way.

  • I hope POTUS Trump is successful in his new job. I am a patriotic American. I voted for Crooked Hillary. I do not think we need a wall between us and Mexico.

    • JC

      You are so wrong—snowflake

      • It is not right or wrong. That is my opinion. And what do you mean by snowflake? If that is a name that you are calling me, could you describe the other characteristics of a snowflake, except: small, capable of melting if temperature exceeds 32 degrees F, crystalline in shape, etc.

      • Richard Browning

        Your the snowflake coward.

    • RB

You voted for Hillary, that’s your right, but I find it odd that even though you voted for her, you refer to her as “Crooked Hillary”.
Just curious, are you saying that you know that Hillary is crooked but you voted for her anyway? That seems strange as most supporters of Hillary hate that description of her, but you seem to accept that it’s correct but makes no difference to you, since you voted for her anyway.
As to the wall, I think that really most Americans would rather not have a wall but consider it a necessity because of how Mexico uses the southern border as a way to enrich their country and rid it of their poor.
Mexico’s biggest source of income comes from the money that illegals send from the US back home, and just think of how much money Mexico saves by not having to support it’s poor because it practically sends them to the US where they know they will be taken care of and won’t be a burden to their country.
If Mexico was truly our friend, they wouldn’t take advantage of the open borders and by promoting illegal entry into the US.
Mexico isn’t the only country guilty of this, we also have several Central American countries doing the same thing. The border between the US and Mexico is also a know crossing point for illegals from several Asian countries as well as being the point of entry of terrorists from many Middle East countries.
In the ideal world we wouldn’t need a wall, but we don’t live in an ideal world. We live in a world where there are an awful lot of people out there that want to harm us and we need to do what we can to protect ourselves.
That may not set well with a lot of people who view the world through rose colored glasses, but it is true.

Among your errors is Mexico’s largest source of revenue. It is energy export.

        • RB

You might want to rethink that.

          From the AP:
MEXICO CITY (AP) — The central bank reported Tuesday that money sent home by Mexicans overseas hit nearly $24.8 billion last year, overtaking oil revenues for the first time as a source of foreign income.

          • ernst

You might notice that your AP line does not specify money sent from the US but seems to include European, Canadian sources, etc. Per your earlier comment, “the money that illegals send from the US back home” is still most likely not the largest source of revenue for Mexico.

          • RB

Having a hard time accepting the truth, huh?

            From Forbes:
Remittances Supersede Oil As Mexico’s Main Source Of Foreign Income
Remittances, the earnings that Mexican workers in the U.S. send home, quietly replaced oil revenues as Mexico’s number one source of foreign income last year.

            From CNN:
Mexico’s biggest cash cow is under threat from President Donald Trump.
The country’s largest source of cash comes from Mexicans living in the United States.

            The Hill:
Mexican citizens in the U.S. sent home nearly $2.4 billion in transfers in November, which is a nearly 25 percent increase from the previous year, according to Mexican central bank data released Monday.
Total remittances are projected to reach a record $27 billion in 2016, which is $2 billion more than the previous year. Mexicans sent a total of $24.8 billion in remittances in 2015, overtaking oil income as a source of revenue for the country.

No matter how you look at it, Mexico is sending huge amounts of money back to their home country, money that could be spent here in the US to boost our economy if, it weren’t for the fact that Mexicans are illegally breaking our immigration laws and stealing jobs that Americans could have.
This is a massive transfer of wealth from the US and has a huge impact on our economy.
Even if it was the second largest source of income to Mexico (which it isn’t any longer) it would still have a huge negative impact on US economy and the American people trying to support their families.
The worst thing about this is that Mexico promotes this and openly has consulates in every state which provides information and legal aid to illegal Mexicans on how to avoid deportation, how to apply for welfare in the US, among other help they give illegals.
Even when President Trump has threatened to tax this money being sent back to Mexico, Mexico’s president denounced this saying, “We must assure the free flow of remittances. Remittances are “an invaluable contribution to national development and indispensable for millions of Mexican families.”

So take off those rose colored glasses. Mexico is not the friend to the US that you think it is.

I was just observing your inadequately accurately verbiage.

          • RB

Try posting again when you’ve come down from your trip and can make an intelligent contribution, if that’s possible.

      • Crooked Hillary was the best one out of two bad choices.

  • notpc4sure

Congress should demand we protect our Borders, Congress sits their waiting for the Democrats Special Council to derail Trump and then the Washington Swamp goes back to operating at 100%

  • Richard Browning

You fat ugly hog, when did Americans become such cowards that we needed a wall to hide behind.Or is it just Chump and his following.Chicken shits.

    • ernst

Instead of a wall we could just build sniper towers to protect the border. It is an illegal invasion and could be viewed as aggressive and warlike.

  • Daniel Lee

“Build that Wall” as people say.

  • Mary Lee

I saw an article yesterday about Ann Coulter railing against Trump because he hadn’t put up the wall yet. What’s wrong with these people? He’s been in office six months and he’s had every bit of crap thrown at him that any human being would even imagine; it’s amazing he can make a fist after all this crap. So, Ann Coulter, a lot is being done about the wall and what are you doing lately except acting like an a******.

  • Bob Casper

It looks like after last week the Republicans need to understand just how serious the liberals and democrats are…. After all the took out guns and shoot at the Republican and it is clear they have no hesitation to show restraint and will do what ever harm the feel necessary to hurt or kill conservatives. They show pictures of beheading our president and assassinating him in a Shakespeare play… The messages that they keep sending are of hate and harm…. So with that we need to take all of their talk seriously and if they continue to spread this hateful speech then they all need to be closely investigated….

  • holland180

Support Trump 100% but the “Dem’s” and many of the GOP will not vote for funding in the budget to build the wall.

  • J. Ernst
