Daniel Whitney, better known to millions of Americans as redneck country comedian Larry the Cable Guy, shared a serious warning recently about what a possible Hillary Clinton victory could mean for the country.
Here’s the sobering story from Breitbart:
“Comedian Larry the Cable Guy opened up about the 2016 presidential race and bemoaned the current political climate that sees Donald Trump supporters being labeled racist.
“‘It’s not like it used to be. If you pick somebody, people want to beat you up, give you death threats. Nobody’s civil,’ the 53-year-old comic said Tuesday in an interview on Fox News’ Fox and Friends. Ever since social media came along, everybody’s a jerk. So if you say, ‘I kind of like Trump, I kind of like the things he says,’ you’re always a racist.
“The ‘Blue Collar’ comedian says this year’s presidential contest is ‘crazy,’ but one thing he knows for sure is who he will not be voting for in November.
“I know who I’m not voting for. I’ll give you the initials – Hillary Clinton. This election is so crazy because I want to change.
“The Cars star said he likes the Republican nominee, but is turned off by some of the things Trump says.
“‘I like Trump, but some of the things he says are outrageous, so you just don’t know. It’s kind of like the choice is, ‘Do I want to poop my pants or do I want someone else to poop my pants? I think I’ll poop my own pants.
“Still the Cable Guy warned of the consequences if Trump doesn’t prevail this fall.
“”Hillary will be the end of the country.’ he said.”
We agree with Larry that the discourse has turned downright nasty, and some of the statements Trump has made have been disappointing. Although liberals love to call conservatives and Trump supporters “racist,” we believe that playing of the race card isn’t nearly as effective as it used to be.
If (God forbid) Hillary wins the November election, it could be the end of America as we’ve known it. That’s the chilling reality that this otherwise light-hearted comedian has brought to light.
