‘This is a scam’: Donald Trump blasts Jill Stein

President-elect Donald Trump denounced former Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein on Friday for her campaign to recount the votes in three states.

“This is a scam by the Green Party for an election that has already been conceded, and the results of this election should be respected instead of being challenged and abused, which is exactly what Jill Stein is doing,” Trump said in a statement released by his transition team.

“This recount is just a way for Jill Stein … to fill her coffers with money, most of which she will never even spend on this ridiculous recount,” Trump said.

  1. President Trump, while I am in no position to make suggestions, would it not behoove you to forget about Jill Stein and Hillary Clinton, and the recount thing? You ARE the President Elect of these United States! Stop descending to their level! Concentrate on running this country! Sorry, just my two cents.

  2. It is a scam but not necessarily for money. The purpose of the recount challenges in three states is not about the accuracy of votes but to DELAY the final authorized state submission. Stein will work every delaying recount action allowed, such as her lawsuit to require manual review of each ballot, to prevent the conclusion and certification by the Dec. 19 deadline for the Electoral College. The 3 states Electoral votes numbers will then NOT BE INCLUDED. This will DENY Trump enough votes to reach 270 and throw the President selection to the House and the Vice President selection to the Senate. The Stein move is to Prevent Trump from the Presidency. Remember, Trump is a man whom she hates with a passion and who is totally against every idiotic policy that the Greens stand for.
What happens if no presidential candidate gets 270 Electoral votes?
If no candidate receives a majority of Electoral votes, the House of Representatives elects the President from the 3 Presidential candidates who received the most Electoral votes. Each state delegation has one vote. The Senate would elect the Vice President from the 2 Vice Presidential candidates with the most Electoral votes. Each Senator would cast one vote for Vice President. If the House of Representatives fails to elect a President by Inauguration Day, the Vice-President Elect, I believe, serves as acting President until the deadlock is resolved in the House.
(The Trump Victory Tour at present is also related to securing congressional support for this possibility.)

  3. I wish The Donald would have at least mentioned Hillary in his off the cuff remarks. She is a shill of the Clinto Crime family and that needs to be brought to light. Granted, when Mr. Trump appoints a Special Prosecutor (as directed to do so through the Congress) then the Clintons et. al; (The Clinton Foundation, The Clinton Global Initiative) will be brought under the light of justice and America will be at peace, forevermore.
