Unfortunately in Tennessee, a tragedy has taken place resulting in the violent death of a 4-month-old boy. The worst part being his death was entirely preventable.
33-year-old Avila-Agurcia has been charged with first degree murder in the April 12 death of Alexander Lizondro-Chacon.
The boy’s mother, Mercy Lizondro-Chacon said that she left her child with boyfriend Avila-Agurcia while she went to work. Initially both denied having any knowledge of how the child died.
However detectives learned from the mother that Avila-Agurcia had admitted to hitting the child in the head numerous times after being told that he was not the father. He was taken into custody without bond.
Equally distressing is that Avila-Argucia had no business being in the country at all, and that isn’t even his name. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement were suspicious that the suspect was using an alias and using biometrics confirmed that he was in fact Carlos Zuniga-Aviles, a Honduran national staying in the country illegally.
He has been deported no less than five times, yet continues to find a way back through undefended borders where he has wreaked havoc on the innocent. Further proof that something must be done to protect the U.S. from illegal immigration.
