According to Fox News, the father of Eric Talley, the Boulder, CO officer who died in the supermarket mass shooting earlier this week, stunned gun control advocates when he revealed that his son was a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment and claimed that he would have hated to see his death used to push stricter gun laws.

Before he was an officer, he enjoyed shooting,” Homer Talley said in an interview with TMZ. “Just because some wacko goes around shooting people doesn’t mean guns need to be taken away. You can’t take away enough guns to protect this country.”
